    The Inspirational Story of Michael J. Fox’s Battle with Parkinson’s Disease

    Michael J. Fox is an award-winning actor, author, and philanthropist best known for his roles in the television series “Family Ties” and the “Back to the Future” movie trilogy studentsgroom. In 1991, at age 29, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system. Despite his diagnosis, Fox continued to work in television and film, appearing in several projects over the next few years. He also developed a foundation to raise money for Parkinson’s research and to improve the lives of those living with the disease tamil dhool. The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research has raised over $650 million since its inception in 2000 and has funded numerous research projects aimed at finding new treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Fox has also written two books about his experience with Parkinson’s—Lucky Man and Always Looking Up. He has spoken publicly about his disease and has become an advocate for those with Parkinson’s. His positive attitude, determination, and dedication to helping others have been an inspiration to many.
