    Tatev Abrahamyan, the renowned American chess Grandmaster, began her chess journey at a young age. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1991, she began stepnguides playing chess at the age of six. By the time she was nine, she had won the Armenian Women’s Championship and was considered a chess prodigy. At the age of ten, Abrahamyan moved to the United States with her family and quickly joined the chess team at her local school in Glendale, California.
