Cycling: Bettiol's Victory, Kluge's Transition, Pogacar's Winning Streak

Bettiol wins prologue of Tour Down Under

The Tour Down Under is one of the most important cycling races in Australia. This year’s race started with a prologue in Adelaide, where Italian Alberto Bettiol (EF Education-Nippo) took the victory. Bettiol covered the 2.6-kilometer course in 3:14 minutes, 0.26 seconds faster than second-place Australian Luke Durbridge (Team BikeExchange). Dutchman Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo) completed the podium. These same athletes will continue their participation in the next races, a great opportunity to get your benefits at 22bet.co.ke/live, the winning athletes always get their next award soon in high probability.

It was a successful start to 2023 for Bettiol, who took victory in each of last year’s Strade Bianche and Tour of Flanders classics. The Italian is one of the co-favorites in the upcoming races in Australia, which include a total of six stages.

German professional cyclist Kluge switches to rad-net Oswald

German professional cyclist Roger Kluge is moving from the Belgian professional team Lotto-Soudal to the German Continental team rad-net Oßwald. The 36-year-old Kluge is best known as a rider for Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan and has provided important support services over the past four years. His new team, rad-net Oßwald, is a team for young talent and aims to promote young riders and give them the opportunity to develop.

Kluge, who is also very successful on the track, has the goal of winning another medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. He hopes he can pass on a lot of experience to his new team and that he himself will once again be at the front of the pack in a major race.

    Pogacar extends winning streak

Tadej Pogacar, the two-time Tour de France winner, also won the second stage at the Tour of Andalusia and thus extended his winning streak. The Slovenian from UAE Team Emirates has already won four races in a row in recent weeks and now clearly leads the overall classification of the five-day Tour.

Pogacar won the Tre Valli Varesine and Tour of Lombardy in Italy at the end of last season and started his 2023 with victory in the Jaen Paraiso Interior semi-classic in Spain. His next target is the Tour de France, which takes place July 1-23. Pogacar hopes to arrive in the best possible shape and compete for victory filmik.
