With "Watch My Dance", a musical composition by Yiannis Christodoulopoulos and lyrics by Eleana Vrachali, Cyprus-born Loukas Yiorkas was the winner of Wednesday night's national final in Greece for the country's entry in this year's 56th Eurovision song contest.

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) party leader Antonis Samaras met on Friday with the winner of the elections in Ireland Enda Kenny, on the sidelines of the European People's Party (EPP) summit taking place in Helsinki.

A new and heavier cloud of pessimism has been hovering over Greece the last few days. Angela Merkel, along with the German fiscal nationalism on one side, and a government worn out due to its problems on the other, are bringing depression a step closer.
